12 day old Baer looks like a sleeping angel, but as his daddy says, "he rules with an iron fist." I think in two and a half hours he slept for 2 minutes, but at least it was long enough to get this picture! Congrats to my lovely friends Courtney and David. I hope they get some sleep soon :)
Caroline is one of my best friends and every time she visits me in California we are busy having fun and never set aside time for photos. Luckily, we made it happen this time. And wouldn't you know I spotted a trash pile on the side of the road that I thought would be perfect for a shoot. Really. An old wooden door for Caroline to lean on and a twenty year old destroyed couch for me to stand on. It was magic... I love Venice Beach!
The Texas state capitol building... You know, for 8 years I've been coming to Austin for work and this is the first time I bothered to bring a camera. Now I'm hooked. No more sitting in my hotel reading on these trips.
Kristin Harmel is not only my fellow UF alum, and long time girlfriend, but she's an amazing author with a slew of published chic lit books (now in Target!). Behind all that creativity is a beautiful person and I was fortunate enough to capture that in pictures. The last two are taken at Courtney's family home in Winter Haven and her mother planted those gorgeous trees 30 years ago!! PS. The whites of Kristin's eyes are actually blue, isn't that wild?!
We met again this weekend at Griffith Park! Even thought the observatory was closed we managed to find some great spots overlooking LA and the observatory (Rebel without a Cause was filmed there). Favorite shots...

My sister came out to LA this weekend for what will be her last visit before we move. So sad that we are moving and leaving paradise, but we sure have loved living here. She was happy to play model and we got some great shots Sunday morning before a full day of brunch, shopping, and movies.
